ARISE Joined forces with Lexington Community Center

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit this historic building that is going to be the Community Center of Lexington, where citizens from all over Oglethorpe County can meet for social, educational, or recreational activities here in our county. We’re incredibly proud and inspired by the unwavering commitment of Mrs. Linda Parish to transform our community here in Oglethorpe.

So often, we think we see change as something that comes from on high. But it is something that we believe that comes when we all come together with the right intentions to strengthen our community, and that’s what Mrs. Linda and her colleagues have been doing for decades.

We’re looking forward to working with the Lexington Downtown Development Authority and locals to help bring this project to life, because we need every everyone in our community.

I can’t imagine a better role model in our community than Mrs. Linda. Thank you for your service.

I’m thrilled to announce that I will be serving on the Board of the Oglethorpe Chamber of Commerce. After several meetings with the Chairman and the members of the Board, I was invited to join the Board. Together, we will help provide businesses with access to resources, discounts, and relationships that enable them to save money, market their products, and streamline their processes.

Being a part of the Chamber is a great opportunity to network with hundreds of business and community leaders from across the county.

I’m so excited to serve and looking forward to working alongside our citizens in the community

A lot of exciting changes are in the works. A big part of my assignments is to work closely with local business owners where we have breakfast meetings every 2nd Wednesday of the month to find ways to promote and provide support for their business to succeed.

Today, I had the opportunity to share my experience as a certified life coach with PEAK Life Coaching to some of the business owners in the county.

I had a great conversation with Bobby Miller, the owner of Greater Georgia Printers who has been serving the community for decades and he also served on the Board for over 5 years. I admire his dedication and commitment to creating growth in our community.

Thanks to everyone who came to learn more about the purpose of the Chamber, my business PEAK Life Coaching, and the story behind it.
