If we wish to improve people's lives, create leaders and jobs that can lift people out of poverty and keep our young people at home, we must improve their skills. This is why we want to create the ARISE Mentoring Center in Elbert County, a place that will not only empower young people but also create leaders and provide quality education and technical training. A place for youth to develop skills and have access to mentorships and greater opportunities.

This mentoring center will inspire and create the leaders of tomorrow. The leaders of our community needs to be transformed. The work to create this first Mentoring Center is our responsibility as citizen and we want you to come join us. We can't wait to have a facility for our mentors and mentees to meet.
The Mentoring Center is a social and recreational center intended primarily for use by youth ages 11 to 28 years. In some cases, children as young as six years old will use the Center, but usually only if special programs are in place to accommodate them. The Center supports opportunities for youth to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive abilities and to experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment, friendship, and recognition
This Mentoring Center will be a multi-functional facility that will provide opportunities for individuals to elevate themselves via a truly supportive mentorship, education, business and health-oriented environment, and includes four components: the Mentorship component, the Business Development component, the Community Hall and the Recreational Component.
The Mentoring Center will offer a various programs such as:
* Mentoring Program & Coaching Sessions
* Cultural Meetings & Conferences
* Rescue Center for survivors from Sex Trafficking and Youth at risk of sexual exploitation
* Teen pregnancy Training Sessions
* Resources for businesses (Local startups)
* Computer Laboratory ( Software, Coding, Online Learning and more...)
* Co-working Space ( Networking / Club Meetings / Crafts and more...)
* Live Podcast / Recording Studio (Story Telling)
* Private and Public Life Coaching & Therapy Session
While unstructured activities are an essential part of this Mentoring Center, the staffed facilities and control and supervision are critical elements. These elements impact facility design as do considerations for youth-friendly and youth-appealing design. Safety is also of paramount importance and we will provide that.
This Mentoring Center will be the first of its kind in the community. The long-term vision is to build one of these center in each area we serve. The impact and significance of this mentoring center will be remarkable. We have gained first hand experience as well as unique and tested strategies that will be applied to this full-scaled center.
