Ourrescue joined us to support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti

Operation Underground Railroad has strong connections to Haiti, so we moved quickly together with them to provide disaster relief through ARISE Project For Humanity, in an effort to support families, individuals and children who have been traumatized by this horrific event.

For the past 3 years, we have been working with Tim Ballard and his organization Operation Underground Railroad to help empower our youth in Haiti through our Mentoring Program. Over 7,000 youth have graduated and now engaging in their community to help create lasting impact.

Following natural disasters, public health crises, and collapses of political systems, the chances of human trafficking often increases due to the vulnerabilities that surface. Traffickers work to control victims by exploiting their need for basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing and water. Those affected by this earthquake are incredibly vulnerable, so we are committed to doing what we can to provide support during this time.

Haiti is number 3 in the entire world for children being trafficked, kidnapped, exploited. It is a huge problem in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic. A big number of our girls leaving Haiti to go to the DR are falling into sex trafficking and we can help prevent it by educating and mentoring our youth so that they never fall into it in the first place. By donating to our organization, you inspire us to empower children in Southern Haiti to become the change we all want to see.

Our mentees gain life changing knowledge that enables them to move into the next chapter of their lives with confidence. We’re grateful for partners like Operation Underground Railroad and the founder Tim Ballard who are supporting our mentoring program to help protect this nation and keep children safe.

We’re committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders in Haiti. That’s why we’re partnering with Operation Underground Railroad to build a #MentoringCenter in Haiti. A place that will expand access to opportunity for students in our #MentoringProgram. We have huge things to accomplish in Haiti but we need your help.
