Happy New Year from all of us at the ARISE Project For Humanity! We’ve accomplished so much on the ground in 2021 and could not be more grateful for all your support. In this season of hope, thank you for joining us on this journey to help create concrete change for our youth.

You went out and inspired your friends and family members to donate and so many of them did.

This year, our organization has raised over $200,000.00 to support our Mentoring Program. 100% of that is used for the purpose of our mentoring program. With the assistance of a generous partner, our administration cost has been covered for the year.

Your support has repeatedly played a key role in our success this year in Haiti. For the past 5 years, 7,004 mentees have joined the mentoring program, 415 mentors have been certified, and we are working in more than 100 communities. We did this together with your donations and the amazing dedication of our small team on the ground working full time. We’re still building the first mentoring center in the Caribbean.

There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. We at ARISE Project For Humanity are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself who answer the call to give again and again. We are looking to open up more mentoring programs in the Dominican Republic to support the Haitians there and our main focus will be on assisting young local business owners this year to help them take their business to the next level. We want to do more and reach more communities to connect them to our vision to help change their mindset, create their life and impact their community.

Success Story: Kenina Thelong, 23 years old, was one of our mentors and she is now attending college in France. She will be representing Haiti as a delegate at and event called Istanbul International Model United Nations in Turkey. This event will expose young participants in the World Political, Economic and Social Affairs in order to enable them to be the Leaders of the Future and of find plausible solutions to ensure peace and unity. We are so proud of Kenina!

“My mentor taught me if you want to change the world, there’s no better place to start than your own community. And I’m ready to do that.” - Jen, Mentees (Tabarre, Haiti)

This year, we expanded our program in 65 more communities in Haiti to ensure young people have access to the principles we’re teaching. In the second quarter of 2021, we had over 20 groups of mentees graduate from the mentoring program in Haiti. More mentors are ready to learn these principles for themselves and able to share them with the youth in their community. It’s been an honor to see our mentors completing their sessions from the mentoring program this season and it’s because of your generous contributions to ARISE Project For Humanity that we’re able to continue our work on the ground.

Aug 23, 2021, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake violently shook the South of Haiti on Saturday morning, a devastating blow to an impoverished country. With the help of our partners, we moved quickly together to provide disaster relief in an effort to support over 5,000 families, including individuals and children who have been traumatized by this horrific earthquake that happened in the south of Haiti.

Months after the earthquake in the South of Haiti, we visited a few schools that we sponsored to meet with the mentors and teachers to know how they’re doing after the Big earthquake in the south.

We chatted together and we talked about our dream for 2022 with our mentoring program in Haiti.

I believe a better Haiti is possible. I hope you join us to help implement more mentoring programs in schools all across Haiti so our children will not only learn about education but most importantly have access to a mentor that will help shape their future forever.

Our goal for the Mentoring Program is to leverage the hundreds of thousands of mentees, to make sure their success stories come to life like Jennifer (pictured above), who’s now working as Marketing Director for a local business in Leogane after graduating from the Mentoring Program.

Did you know that our Founder, Williamson Sintyl was nominated as one of the top 10 Haitian influencers of the year again by a local news magazine? That means, our work continues to reach more communities and more people in Haiti because they are aware of the success of the mentoring program. It's because of your support that allows him to give his time and dedication to this cause.

Generosity isn't what you do. It's who you are. With your generous support , we will continue to empower our youth to change their mindset, create their life and impact their community. It takes a certain kind of person to make a difference in the world, to choose to help others, to fight for good. Thank you for being one of them.

From all of us here at the ARISE Project For Humanity, we thank you for all your support and wish you a hope-filled and restful season. Here’s to the work that lies ahead in 2022!
